Cupping
Cupping is one of the oldest methods of healing, dating back 5000 years and practiced not only by the ancient Chinese, but also Hindi, Egyptian and Greeks. Over time, the cups and techniques have changed, yet the effects remain the same. It is a simple and safe technique and diverse in its application.
The air in the suction cups are heated and then placed on the treatment spot. This produces a vacuum inside the cup that sucks the skin into the cup causing strong circulation, alleviation of pain and inhibition of inflammation. It is particularly useful for conditions such as rheumatic illnesses and painful muscular tension as well as the common cold and sinusitis.
